How to Update the old r4i

now the newest r4i ultra can use for dsi 1.4,you just download by www.r4ultra.com

i tell you how to let the r4i ultra use for 1.4
 
To enable your R4i Ultra to work on a DSi console with v1.4 firmware, you first need an old DS or DS Lite, or a DSi console that is running v1.3 firmware or lower.

Firstly you have to download the r4i ultra software by www.r4ultra.com website(Kernel Version：1.55).

then release the software, then copy all files and folders into the root of the micro sd card

now I tell you how to update the r4i ultra
1)please use the 1.4 fix files here(I have attached it in the folder “r4i ultra old fw_update”)
2)Copy the r4ifw_update_14_DSL_2939.nds(by ds lite) or r4ifw_update_14_DSi_2939.nds(by dsi) file onto your MicroSD card and boot into the R4i Ultra
3)from the menu load the 1.4 update r4ifw_update_14_DSL_2939.nds(by ds lite) or r4ifw_update_14_DSi_2939.nds(by dsi) file you copied to the MicroSD card
4)it will update your R4i Ultra, once complete the card will now work in a DSi with 1.4 firmware.
Note this does not work with R4i SDHC and the others, this is only for the original R4i Ultra cards.
